Went on personal holidays to capture famous Cherry Blossom of Hunza Valley, up in north of Pakistan in Karakorum Mountain range. We came across small landslides through our road trip until we reached more than half way and learned those small landslides have become huge landslides and blocked the KKH (Karakoram Highway) from 90 different locations so massive that it was not usable and not at all safe to travel. So i was stranded along with friends in place called Shatyal for 5 days without access to network or other facilities. 5th day road was partially resumed and we reached Gilgit where Government of Pakistan organized evacuation of stranded tourists.
Though i was unable to document landslide (as it was quite life threatening, we prefered running out of landslides area without a break) i spent some time shooting with locals and others who were stranded in same place.
Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything – Plato.
